Education and Parental Rights

OneBC proposes a stronger focus on reading, writing and mathematics, alongside greater parental involvement and classroom transparency.

Housing

OneBC proposes changes to provincial housing rules intended to make development more feasible and homeownership more attainable.

Responsible Government and Debt

Immigration

OneBC calls for ending what its published materials describe as “mass immigration into B.C.” Immigration admissions and immigration status are federal responsibilities.

DRIPA, Property Rights and Accountability

OneBC proposes repealing British Columbia’s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act, commonly called DRIPA. Repealing provincial legislation would not remove existing constitutional Indigenous rights.

• Halt voluntary transfers of public land, resources and governmental control.
• Seek greater accountability for public funding provided to Indigenous governments.
• Advocate federal Indian Act reforms.
• End mandatory government land acknowledgements.

Changes to provincial law and policy are distinct from Indian Act reforms, which require federal action.

Forestry and Natural Resources

OneBC proposes changes to support forestry operations and resource-sector investment.

• Increase the allowable annual cut.
• Reduce stumpage fees.
• Expedite permit approvals and consultation processes.
• Pursue pipeline access to tidewater.
• Strengthen cooperation with western provinces on energy and shared provincial interests.

Public Safety, Drugs and Addiction

OneBC proposes shifting addiction policy toward treatment and recovery while prioritizing action against repeat violent offenders.

• Provide involuntary treatment and housing in severe cases.
