Our voting-help service
The voting-help form is operated by the Kootenay–Monashee OneBC Electoral District Association (EDA), not Elections BC. Submitting this form does not register you to vote or update your voter registration.
To request help from our team, use the form on our Voting Help page. Submitting a request is optional.
Information we collect and why
When you submit a voting-help request, we collect your first and last name, street address, city, postal code, and the email address and/or phone number you provide.
We use these details to help find official voting information relevant to your address and contact you with a response. This is a request for assistance from our team, not an instant automated voting-location lookup.
The submission also includes its date and time, the form source, your campaign-update consent choice, and the consent wording or version presented to you.
Optional campaign updates
Requesting voting help does not automatically subscribe you to campaign updates and is not treated as an indication of political support.
If you select the separate, optional campaign-updates checkbox, you agree to receive campaign news and updates from the Kootenay–Monashee OneBC EDA. This checkbox is unchecked by default.
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in our messages or by contacting us at the email address below.
How submissions are processed
Our form uses Formspree to process submissions and deliver them to the recipients configured by the EDA. Your information therefore passes through a third-party service rather than being stored directly on this website.
Information about Formspree’s handling of personal information is available in its privacy policy.
EDA access to submissions is intended for authorized team members handling voting-help requests and, where you have consented, campaign communications.
Questions and privacy requests
To ask how your information is handled, request access, correct your details, request deletion, or withdraw your campaign-update consent, email president@kootenaymonashee.ca.
Please provide enough information for us to identify your submission. Do not send identification documents or other sensitive information unless we specifically request them through an appropriate process.
